Our stationery collections have been carefully designed to give you beautiful, cohesive stationery with the flexibility to personalise the details of your day. However, sometimes you may have an idea that goes beyond the standard design.

Our Bespoke Design service allows us to creatively adapt one of our existing designs to make it more personal to you. Whether you’d like to combine elements from different collections, introduce a new feature or rework the layout of a design, our design team can create a considered adaptation while retaining the character and style of your chosen collection.

Bespoke design work is available for a wide range of stationery, including invitations, signage and on-the-day stationery.

Examples of Bespoke Design

Mix & Match Designs

Combine elements from different collections to create a unique design, such as mixing florals, typography or other elements from separate designs.

Venue Illustrations

Add a bespoke line-drawn or watercolour illustration of your wedding venue to a design that doesn’t currently feature one as standard.

Alternative Orientations

Change the orientation of an existing design, such as adapting a landscape welcome sign to portrait or a portrait design to landscape, where the layout needs to be creatively reworked to suit the new format.

Personalised Monograms

Incorporate a bespoke monogram featuring your initials into an existing design.

Photography

Incorporate a photograph of you as a couple into a design that doesn’t feature photography as part of its standard composition.

Additional Design Elements

Add new decorative elements to an existing design, such as a wavy border.

Timeline Additions

Add a wedding timeline to a design that doesn’t currently include one.

Repurposing Design Elements

Move or incorporate existing design elements into areas of the stationery where they aren’t included as standard, such as using timeline icons within a text panel or incorporating decorative elements from one part of a design into another.

These are some examples of the types of creative adaptations we can offer and are not an exhaustive list. If you have another idea in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assess what is possible.

Bespoke Design Cost

Every bespoke request is different, so bespoke design work is priced according to the time, complexity and level of creative development required.

A bespoke design fee will be quoted based on your individual requirements before any additional design work begins. This allows us to keep straightforward adaptations affordable while ensuring more involved design work is appropriately priced.

Your bespoke design fee covers the additional creative and artwork time required to develop the requested adaptation. It is separate from the cost of the stationery itself, including printing and any additional materials or finishes that may be required.

If your request involves several bespoke elements, we may be able to combine these into a single bespoke design fee rather than charging separately for each element.

Important Information

Bespoke adaptations are created from an existing design. The purpose of this service is to develop and personalise our existing collections rather than create an entirely new stationery collection from scratch.

Fonts & Typography

We use professionally licensed fonts within our designs. For this reason, bespoke typography will be created using fonts from our existing licensed font library. We are unable to use customer-supplied fonts unless we have the appropriate licence to use them commercially.

Customer-Supplied Images & Artwork

By supplying photographs, illustrations, artwork or other visual content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use the material for your wedding stationery.

We cannot accept responsibility for copyright, licensing or other intellectual-property issues relating to artwork or images supplied by a customer.

Any supplied artwork must be high-resolution and print-ready. We do not include artwork editing, image manipulation, redrawing, tracing or restoration as part of this service unless specifically agreed and quoted separately.

Design Approval

Like with most of our stationery, a digital proof will be provided for approval before the bespoke design is sent to print. Once the bespoke design has been approved, any further changes that require additional design work may incur a further fee.

Bespoke Work & Timescales

Bespoke design work may require additional time compared with our standard personalised stationery. Any significant impact on your usual turnaround time will be communicated when your bespoke request is quoted.

What’s Included in Our Standard Designs

Our standard stationery prices already include the professional personalisation of your chosen design. This includes adapting the design to your wording and details and making reasonable adjustments necessary to accommodate your information.

The Bespoke Design service is for requests that require the existing creative design or layout to be further developed or adapted beyond its standard format.

If you’re unsure whether your request requires bespoke design work, please contact us before ordering and we’ll be happy to advise.
