The two pieces
Menu choice RSVP cards
Let guests confirm their attendance and choose their meal in one go. Each menu choice RSVP card has space for your guests' names with a column for each course — guests write the number of their chosen dish from the menu card — plus room for dietary requirements. It's printed on 300gsm card and supplied with a matching envelope so guests can reply by post. Shop menu choice RSVP cards
A6 invitation menu cards
Show guests their options with an A6 menu card, printed on 300gsm card and sized to send with your invitations — so they can choose before they reply. These are made specifically to fit alongside your invites, smaller than our on-the-day table menus. Shop invitation menu cards
Menu cards for invitations vs on-the-day menus
These A6 menu cards are designed to go out with your invitations, so guests can see the options and pre-order their meal. They're not the same as our larger on-the-day wedding menus, which sit on the tables at your reception. If you need guests to choose in advance, the invitation menu card is the one you want — sized to fit neatly with your invites.
How to include menu choices in your invitations
You only need menu choice cards if you're asking guests to pre-order from a set of options, rather than serving a single set menu. If you are, the simplest approach is:
Include an A6 menu card with your invitations, with each dish numbered (for example S1, S2 for starters, M1, M2 for mains), so guests can see the options
Include a menu choice RSVP card where guests write the matching number for each course and return it
Always leave space for dietary requirements and allergies
That way your caterer gets an accurate count, and every guest gets the meal they chose. If you're serving the same meal to everyone, you won't need menu choices — a standard RSVP card is all you need.
Matching wedding stationery
Both pieces come in designs matching the majority of our collections — invitations, RSVP cards, menus, place cards and the rest of your day — so your menu choice cards coordinate with the whole suite. Browse the full collection

Wedding menu choice cards FAQs
-
They're cards that let your guests pre-select their meal before the wedding. We offer two coordinating pieces: a menu RSVP card (where guests write their choice and reply) and an A6 invitation menu card (which shows them the options), both sent out with your invitations.
-
Only if you're offering a choice of meal that guests need to select in advance. If you're serving a single set menu, you won't need them — a standard RSVP card will do.

The menu card shows guests their options, with each dish numbered; the menu choice RSVP card collects their selection — guests write the number of their chosen dish for each course — and is returned to you. Most couples send both together.
-
No. These A6 menu cards are sized to send with your invitations so guests can choose in advance. Our on-the-day wedding menus are larger and sit on the tables at your reception.

The menu choice RSVP cards are A7 (A6 available on request) and the invitation menu cards are A6, sized to fit neatly with your invitations. Both are printed on 300gsm card.

Each dish on the menu card is coded with a number — for example starters as S1, S2 and mains as M1, M2. The RSVP card then has space for your guests' names (up to four per card), with a column for each course, where they write the number of the dish they'd like. So a guest simply writes, say, "1" under Starter and "2" under Main, then returns the card to you — quick for them and easy for you to tally.
